I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. As a part of my specialties, I am an endorsed Infant/Toddler Mental Health Specialist (IMH-E) through The Infant/Toddler Mental Health Coalition of Arizona (ITMHCA) as well as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) through the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and the Arizona Association for Play Therapy (AzAPT). In addition, I have completed the Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) training through the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I have additional training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Sand Tray Play Therapy, Adlerian Play Therapy (AdPT), Theraplay Level I, DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Level II), PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), and NMT (Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics Phase I Certified). I am passionate about working with young children, aged Birth to 8 years old, who have experienced various challenges and/or traumas that require unique therapy approaches to support processing and healing. I work from a systemic approach, involving and collaborating with a child’s family and larger network of supports when needed, as well as a holistic, whole body approach, working with children verbally, expressively/playfully, and through mind/body approaches to support deeper and long-lasting healing. My ultimate goal is to help children and parents/caregivers feel hopeful, empowered, and securely connected.
I look forward to meeting you!
